MODELLING AND EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF COPPER-ZINC ALLOY USING SPLIT-SPLIT PLOT DESIGN

This study focused on the modelling and experimental investigation of Copper-Zinc alloy using Split-split plot design. The effects process parameters such as percentage by volume material, material type (copper zinc), pressure their interactions mechanical properties produced copper-zinc split-split design was investigated. examined in this include; tensile strength, modulus elasticity, shear hardness. values obtained from evaluation these were imputed into analytical to obtain its numerical designs. Interactive model for also developed study. sum squares (SS) mean square (MS) calculated designs Fisher’s ratio (F_cal) values. results at significant value 0.05 ranges -57.70 8.50, presented analysis variance (ANOVA) table. shows that there is strong interraction between pressure, zinc copper production zinc-copper manufacturing industries.
